The Blood-Sucking Opportunist Malaysia

One of this week’s stand-out displays Malaysia’s unethical self-claimed issue that has been again blown up. They’ve recently claimed Pendet dance in their tourism advertisement. For Indonesian people, that’s been truly infuriating since they do Pendet as though their cultural heritage. I’ve been in the same boat with heru when he wrote it as a blood-sucking opportunist that will do everything to get everything that smells like money. Let alone, they’ve previously claimed Batik, Reog Ponorogo, any Indonesian folklore songs, etc. Well, that’s actually more than I can take. Malaysia won’t stop their action since they realize that they have lack of marketable cultural heritage can be used to make selling point.

Menyambut Ramadhan

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ

Enfin, le Ramadhan est venu. Dire, bienvenue!! Sebuah bulan yang benar-benar ditunggu oleh umat islam di seluruh dunia, tak terkecuali kaum-kaum fasiq seperti saya. Ramadhan memang selalu menyisakan banyak cerita-cerita indah, seperti halnya harus membiasakan diri makan sahur jam 3 pagi (meski buat saya sudah biasa, berhubung saya hobby begadang), membiasakan menahan lapar dari terbit fajar hingga terbenam matahari (inipun saya nyaris sudah biasa, terlebih kalau akhir bulan).

When I was on Trevi Fountain, Roma couple of months ago, I think I was being a part of the Italian myth that believe by throwing three coins into the fountain, then our wish will come true. I knew, there were going to be harsh critics on my action but I didn’t give a damn what anybody thought about me. “At least, you’ll be still praying for your God” the devil whispered it to me. Then I threw three 2 cents coins and made a wish for each ones. Sure, I also wished for my yearning uptown girl despite I’ve never personally attempted to attract her since I have absolutely no idea to do it till now. Hahaha, what the fuckin’ loser!!!
