There’s just one day left to end the transfer window this summer. Still, any possibilities can be occurred in 24 hours ahead. Recent major transfer display out two Ex-Real Madrid’s Dutchman Wesley Sneijder & Arjen Robben’s transfer saga. Sneijder finally agrees to join Inter Milan for 5 years contract while Robben has moved to Bayern Muenchen in undisclosed deal. The last name above even just made a very impressive debut by scoring twice against Wolfsburg and led The Bavarian to beat that Bundesliga title holder three goals to nil. Meanwhile in the other saga, Manchester City have also strengthened their defense by signing English international center-back Joleon Lescott from Everton. Another “not needed” player of Real Madrid Rafael Van der Vaart also has a chance to leave Santiago Bernabeu after ruling out from 25 registered players for La Liga this season.

The Blood-Sucking Opportunist Malaysia
Published August 26, 2009 Common Sense 1 CommentTags: Indonesia Tourism, Malaysia Tourism, Malaysia Truly Asia, Pendet
One of this week’s stand-out displays Malaysia’s unethical self-claimed issue that has been again blown up. They’ve recently claimed Pendet dance in their tourism advertisement. For Indonesian people, that’s been truly infuriating since they do Pendet as though their cultural heritage. I’ve been in the same boat with heru when he wrote it as a blood-sucking opportunist that will do everything to get everything that smells like money. Let alone, they’ve previously claimed Batik, Reog Ponorogo, any Indonesian folklore songs, etc. Well, that’s actually more than I can take. Malaysia won’t stop their action since they realize that they have lack of marketable cultural heritage can be used to make selling point.

When I was on Trevi Fountain, Roma couple of months ago, I think I was being a part of the Italian myth that believe by throwing three coins into the fountain, then our wish will come true. I knew, there were going to be harsh critics on my action but I didn’t give a damn what anybody thought about me. “At least, you’ll be still praying for your God” the devil whispered it to me. Then I threw three 2 cents coins and made a wish for each ones. Sure, I also wished for my yearning uptown girl despite I’ve never personally attempted to attract her since I have absolutely no idea to do it till now. Hahaha, what the fuckin’ loser!!!
You’re not afraid, so what?

After the JW Marriott & Ritz Carlton blasts, Indonesia Unite’s slogan “We’re Not Afraid” has been getting popular. “We’re not afraid” actually is an outlet for the global community to speak out against the acts of terror that have struck London, Madrid, New York, Afghanistan, Bali, etc. It’s also aimed to hail against the atrocities occurring in cities around the world each and every day. So, it’s a worldwide action for people not willing to be cowed by terrorism and fear mongering. In Indonesia, it’s aimed to encourage Indonesians to be no longer repressed by the fears about any terrorism threats. That’s it, that slogan seems show to the world that everything’s okay though the bombs have killed more than 10 victims and injured dozens others. Hmm.. sounds good, right? They try to stick out our strength and make the terrorists quiver.
Happy Birthday, Gita Gutawa

It’s your birthday, sing aloud, you will surely make us proud.
If your voice, cracks in half, we shall all, have a laugh.
Don’t be shy, pick a song. Just make sure, it’s not too long.
Old or new, all the same. Aging, we should never be ashamed.
If you choose, something old. My blue suede shoes, prepare to behold.
Let us dance up, a wild storm. Until our spirits, are joyful and warm.
Happy belated birthday, princess!! Our love for you, we wish to extend.
Experiences filled, with joy and laughter, special memories, we shall recall after.
Ferguson Must Ready For Their Title Drought

“That has always been the case here at the club. When you lose the last game of the season you have two or three months to reflect on the disappointment. We have not enjoyed that. But we will cope and bounce back.”
Sir Alex Ferguson
The summer transfer window has yet to close. We still have about three weeks left to come to the deadline. Many hot transfers have been signed. The world transfer record even has been broken by 80 million pounds Cristiano Ronaldo. Real Madrid & Manchester City (till I wrote this article) is the club with the most expenditure to sign new comers. Serie A has again lost their super star Zlatan Ibrahimovich due to a swap deal for Samuel Eto’o. Flamboyant striker Andrei Arshavin promises a bright future to Arsenal who have lost Emmanuel Adebayor to Manchester City. David Villa can leave Mestalla in the right price. Again, it’s a very great movement in the current economic climate, where many lower league clubs are struggling to even survive, let alone compete in the transfer market. I really enjoy it!!! It’s none of my business if all the big arrivals won’t improve the quality of players in the domestic country. However, La Liga as the most stunning domestic league after Kaka, Ibra, & Ronaldo’s arrivals is no longer part of RCTI sports programs next season. So sad!!
